Le Proteste in Libano del 2019-2020 sono una serie di manifestazioni in corso in Libano a livello nazionale[2] iniziate il 17 ottobre 2019 in risposta all'incapacità del governo di trovare soluzioni a una crisi economica che si è profilata nell'ultimo anno.[3]
Le proteste sarebbero state innescate dalle nuove imposte previste su benzina, tabacco e telefonate online attraverso operatori come WhatsApp.[4][5][6][7][8][9]
Le proteste hanno portato il 29 ottobre 2019 alle dimissioni del Primo Ministro Saad Hariri.[10]
